In my particular case, my handles weren’t attached evenly on both sides and a little tighter than we would like. We are thinking these were woven by a trainee weaver. However I am still perfectly functional. Please see my photos. I am still comfortable to carry, or you can adjust the handles to be even, it just skews the basket a little.
Medium Passionfruit baskets are great for small to medium grocery shops, fresh fruit and veg, picnics, BBQs and beach days. Perfect size for arts and crafts, knitting and every day uses.

The Burmese traditional weaving methods have been passed down for generations.
Each
Pāli basket is individually handwoven from a combination of new, reused and recycled pallet strapping. The base and handles are made from bamboo and rattan purchased from local farmers. Recycled materials are not always available but we are continually working on new ways to make this more achievable.
Baskets are fully recyclable at the end of their very long lives. Contact us for information on how to recycle correctly.
