Hello, I am a sliced basket. I must have accidentally been cut when opening the sacks I come in from Myanmar. This shouldn't quickly unravel, but we are not too sure. We would advise a strong blob of super glue to secure my loose pieces. We are also happy to do this for you :) This shouldn't affect my longevity too much if monitored.

Large Passionfruit baskets are great for larger grocery shops, fresh produce, picnics, BBQs, and beach days. We also call Large Passionfruits our "teacher's basket," as they are perfect for a laptop and paperwork. They can hold up to 12kg.

Each Pāli basket is individually handwoven in a remote village in Myanmar, from new pallet strapping made from recycled plastics. Plastics are collected by locals from streets and beaches, recycled into pellets, then made into rolls of new strapping.

Our Passionfruit style uses bamboo in the base and rattan in the handles, purchased from local farmers.

The traditional Burmese weaving techniques have been passed down through generations. Every basket sold enables our ongoing support of the artisans, village families and local Burmese communities.
