Hello, I am a shorty basket. This means that in the weaving process strips of strapping are a tiny bit too short to reach my top frame the whole way around. This will not jeopardise my longevity as we are tightly woven. Love me as I am or a blob of strong fabric or super glue can be used to secure my short bit(s) in place.

 Large Passionfruit baskets are perfect for grocery shops, fresh fruit and veg, picnics, beach days and weekend getaways. Perfect size for a laptop, paperwork and books. Pali Baskets are super strong and designed to last. Large baskets can hold up to 10kg.

The Burmese traditional weaving methods have been passed down for generations.

Each Pāli basket is individually handwoven from a combination of new, reused and recycled pallet strapping. The base and handles are made from bamboo and rattan purchased from local farmers. Recycled materials are not always available but we are continually working on new ways to make this more achievable.

Baskets are fully recyclable at the end of their life when recycled correctly (see shipping & returns for details).
