Hello, I am a unravelled basket. In my particular case, around my frame the strapping has begun to unravel. This is likely to have occurred when opening and unpacking rice sacks we are shipped in from Myanmar or not finished correctly in the beginning. We are not sure how this will affect the longevity, currently it is in a mild and stable position but perhaps some strong glue can help keep the strapping unravelling more. I am also on a little bit of a slant.

 Large Passionfruit baskets are perfect for grocery shops, fresh fruit and veg, picnics, beach days and weekend getaways. Perfect size for a laptop, paperwork and books. Pali Baskets are super strong and designed to last. Large baskets can hold up to 10kg.

The Burmese traditional weaving methods have been passed down for generations.

Each Pāli basket is individually handwoven from a combination of new, reused and recycled pallet strapping. The base and handles are made from bamboo and rattan purchased from local farmers. Recycled materials are not always available but we are continually working on new ways to make this more achievable.

Baskets are fully recyclable at the end of their life when recycled correctly (see shipping & returns for details).
