Hello, I am a handle basket. I am perfectly functional and beautiful, just the artisan that wove me and attached my handles on, made my outer loops too high making the handle flip in and out too easily/with not enough resistance. This doesn't make me any less strong at all, as the loops are the same strength as all baskets. This is more of an aesthetic thing. See video for a visual explanation.

Approximate size: L:34cm D:21cm H:29cm H(with handle):39cm

*There might be slight variation up to 2cm as each basket is individually handwoven.

Medium Passionfruit baskets are great for small to medium grocery shops, fresh fruit and veg, picnics, BBQs and beach days. Perfect size for books, arts and crafts, knitting and every day uses. Pali Baskets are super strong and durable. Medium baskets can hold up to 8kg.

The Burmese traditional weaving methods have been passed down for generations.

Each Pāli basket is individually handwoven from a combination of new, reused and recycled pallet strapping. The base and handles are made from bamboo and rattan purchased from local farmers. Recycled materials are not always available but we are continually working on new ways to make this more achievable.

Baskets are fully recyclable at the end of their very long lives. Contact us for information on how to recycle correctly.

*please note: Modelled basket is just a size example. Colour is per product photo*

*This basket is "Not Quite Perfect." All baskets are handwoven and imperfections naturally add character, however these baskets have not quite made the cut to sell at full retail price. Please read each specific basket description closely as all sales are final, no returns. Returns will only be allowed if baskets are not as described. We are happy to send further descriptions or photographs upon request. maggie@palibaskets.com*
